Fall Festival

We will be having a fall fesitval on the evening of October 28, 2010. Festivies will be in the park.

Unfortunately, I will be unable to attend, due to a work commitment. We will be having a annual meeting before the end of the year. When we select a date, I will let everyone know.

BOAT RAMP GATE

Several times this month the boat gate ramp has been left open. Please remember to lock the boat ramp gate after you launch your boat or load it onto the trailer, and do not open the gate for others. Guests are welcome to use Emerald Lake, but they must be accompanied by a Lake Committee Member to launch a boat. Prior to installing the gate, trespassing and littering on the lake and waterfront properties were habitual problems. Please do you part to help us keep Emerald Lake and our community pristine, safe, and private.

Homeowners Meeting

The next Homeowners Meeting will be on March 9, 2010 at 6:00pm. Formal announcements will be mailed this week.

It will be held at the Opelika library

Happy 2010

Sorry to have been slacking on the blog. The holidays and work slowed me down on some Foxchase items.

I am trying to schedule a homeowners meeting in the near future. Please keep an eye out for a notice in the mail.

Lastly, you should have received your annual dues statement. Please note that the officers elected to raise the dues by $10 in 2010. This decision was made to avoid triple digit increases like we had a few years ago.

The additional funds will be placed in the road fund. I anticipate we will have some repairs again this year, and ultimately we are still saving to totally resurface phase I and II.
